Carmen SanDiego

Hey all.

This is a short update to let folks know that we're in a bit of a transition. I'm currently in Boston working for Oxfam America. I'm the press office for their Gulf Coast recovery program. Sounds super, eh? The coolest part is Bill Gates pays my salary. Go Bill. (Don't tell him I have a Mac).

The much more popular part of my family is still in Montgomery until we figure out how to remedy this situation. In the meantime, the Yankees are creeping up on the Sox and We're all off to Cape Cod for vacation tomorrow. Life is good.

Pictures at some point soon.

Stan Climbing

So, I've been away for awhle. But I'm back for a little while, at least. More on that later. In the meantime, here's a video of Stan. I asked him if he wanted to have his diaper changed, and this is what he did.

Stealing

So, our computer crashed. And until I can find a way to pull the old photos off of our hard drive (pray for us), I'm going to steal from Maggie's blog. Here are some pictures from the Wisconsin wedding a few weeks ago.

Briefly...

Sorry I've been away for awhile. There was that whole wedding thing in Minneapolis, etc. But we're back. In the meantime, here's one photo from the festivities. I'm working on getting some more.

On another note, my good friend MIke almost died a few years ago. He's a pretty good guy. This is how he almost died. Mike, it's good to have you around.

Finally, the Yankees are on a winning streak. They won last night and led the whole game. That's NINE WHOLE INNINGS! Read it and weep, Red Sox fans.

Just fixed the video below. Enjoy, more to come.

Dancing man

A glimpse into our Friday evening. A minute and a half of dancing goodness.

Graduation!

Congratulations to Emily on her graduation from Auburn University yesterday. Thursday was the formal ceremony, but she had technically finished her degree in December. It was a great time and a beautiful day. I couldn't be more proud. Emily graduated with a Master's of Science in Rural Sociology and Economic Development and happened to do really well (ahem, 4.0). Here are some pictures of the event.

There were a million people graduating from Auburn. This is the half who attended the afternoon ceremony:

Just waking up:
